PETITION: Defund DEI Programs and Positions within State Government

These so called DEI training programs and positions are based on a lie. The lie is that by defining and treating people differently based on their sex, race, or religion, we can somehow expect better outcomes in terms of performance, morale, and government efficiency.

This, of course, it utterly false and ridiculous. We will not achieve a more just or prosperous society by telling everyone that leftist racial and biological standards determine their identity. Only in the most woke, liberal, leftist and Marxist visions of America would this make any kind of sense.

State government in Missouri is now a breeding ground of racial tension and distrust thanks to the policies of Democrats and weak Republican leadership that have allowed these programs to take root in Jefferson City.

Missourians, whether in government or the free market, should be judged and defined by the merit of their actions, not the statistics of political demographics.

Therefore, as Governor Of Missouri, I would immediately defund all DEI-based positions and programs across Missouri government.
