Missouri should be owned by Missourians.
It should at least be owned by Americans.
There are many in our world that do not have our best interests in mind—looking at you, CHINA! We in the Senate have passed Senate Bill 912 which includes my 100% ban on ANY foreign entity buying any Missouri farmland. Now this legislation is languishing, collecting dust in the House of Representatives, as folks like Mike Kehoe and Jay Ashcroft refuse to acknowledge and endorse it.
As we wait for Kehoe and Ashcroft to do the right thing for Missouri, thousands of acres of Missouri farmland are owned by China and other foreign actors. That is unacceptable.
That’s why I have offered a constitutional amendment to try to force current owners of our farmland to divest themselves of the land and sell or transfer that land back to American hands. Several global entities, like the World Economic Forum, are intent on harming Missouri’s top industry—farming—by using the false flag of “climate change” to justify the destruction of Missouri farms. This is precisely what happened in the Netherlands, formerly Europe’s top producing farming nation, and is even now happening in other western countries.
